Oatmeal porridge They are, as you know, those who read us regularly, one of my favorite weekend breakfasts. On the weekend when I have the time and tranquility to prepare them to my liking. And to enjoy them without haste, which is also important.
These porridge with blueberries and banana They were on my table last Saturday. The porridge has among its ingredients a drink of almond, cinnamon, cocoa and dates. Ingredients that they make together with the fruit topping that these are not so flat; which is why many people reject them.
Although I have tried other types of porridge - those of amaranth, among others - oatmeal is still my favorite both because of its flavor and because of how easy it is to find its main ingredient close to home. The base of these admits, in addition, many accompaniments, play with your favorite fruits!
- 1 glass of almond drink
- 3 tablespoons oat flakes
- ½ teaspoon of cocoa
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- A pinch of vanilla essence
- 3 or 4 dates
- 1 small banana
- 12 blueberries
- 1 ounce of chocolate (optional)
- We place in a saucepan the almond drink and the rolled oats to heat.
- When the mixture begins to boil, lower the heat and add the cinnamon, cocoa and minced dates. We mix and maintain a simmer for 10 minutes, stirring the porridge from time to time so that they do not get stuck.
- While the porridge cooks, we cut the banana sliced.
- After 10 minutes we serve the oatmeal porridge in a bowl and we place the banana on these, blueberries and chocolate.
- Ready to eat!
