Today I propose a pumpkin cream with prawnsa very healthy vegetable cream , but today we are going to accompany it with some peeled prawns, so this dish is very complete.
It's a good dish to prepare this holiday season as a starter if we accompany it with some good fresh prawns or prawns. A simple and light dish.

Ingredients
- 1 Kilo of pumpkin
- 2-3 potatoes
- An onion or chive
- Milk cream (cooking cream)
- Prawns (can be frozen)

Preparation
- We peel the pumpkin leaving it without skin and without seeds, wash and chop into rather small pieces.
- We peel the potatoes, wash them and chop them like the pumpkin.
- We chop the onion into pieces.
- We put to heat a casserole with a good jet of oil and when it is very hot we put the onion to fry, we will leave it until it begins to take color.
- When the onion is there, we put the pumpkin and the potatoes and cover with water or vegetable or chicken broth, let it cook for about 20 minutes or until it is well cooked.
- On the other hand we prepare the prawns, we peel them removing the heads and shells, we salt them and we sauté them in a pan with a little oil, we reserve them.
- When the vegetables are cooked, we mash them or we pass them through a masher until a smooth and homogeneous cream is left. We put it on the fire again and we taste it for salt, we add a little pepper and a few tablespoons of liquid cream, we stir and we leave it as we like.
- We serve the hot cream on the plates accompanied by the sautéed prawns.
- You can also accompany it with some pieces of fried bread.
