Buñuelos

Buñuelos a typical Easter recipe. They are a delicious and simple sweet that we can prepare at home and give them our touch. On these dates in many houses many typical sweets are prepared, such as torrijas, donuts, pestiños and buñuelos. They are traditional sweets that cannot be missed.

The fritters can be varied, with a touch of anise, orange, lemon, we can also fill them with cream, chocolate, cream. They are very good and simple sweets, they are also a vice, you start with one and you cannot stop how rich they are. Here I leave you how I prepare them, I hope you like them !!!

Ingredients
  • 125 ml. milk
  • 80 gr. strength flour
  • 60 gr. of butter
  • 3 eggs
  • Aniseed
  • Anise liqueur (optional)
  • Sunflower oil for frying
  • Sal Island
  • Sugar to coat

Preparation
  1. To make the fritters the first thing will be to heat the milk, butter, a pinch of salt, the aniseed grain and a splash of anise liqueur, we will leave it until it starts to boil and everything is well mixed.
  2. Then we will throw in the flour at once and mix everything well, until it separates from the walls of the saucepan.
  3. We turn off the heat and we will start casting the eggs, one at a time and mixing it well before adding the next, until we have three eggs.
  4. We put a pan with plenty of sunflower oil, when it is hot we will add the fritters, we will add portions of the dough with a spoon.
  5. In a plate we will put sugar to coat the fritters.
  6. We will let them brown well, we will remove them and we will coat them with sugar.
  7. We will put them in a serving dish.
  8. And they will be ready.
