Meat and vegetable skewers

Today we will prepare skewers, a very simple dish that consists of skewering a variety of foods cut into small square pieces on a skewer or rod. They are cooked on the barbecue, in the oven or on the grill. We can combine fish, seafood, meat, fruits and vegetables. In our recipe we will use meat and vegetables that will provide us with an exquisite contrast of flavors and textures.
Time of preparation: 30 minutes


Ingredients (12 skewers)
  • 500 gr of lean beef cut into cubes
  • 200 gr of mushrooms
  • 1 green pepper
  • 5 pear tomatoes
  • 5 small onions
  • 200 gr of bacon
  • Spiced olive oil (chili pepper, parsley and dehydrated garlic, oregano, paprika, pepper and bay leaf)
  • shawl
  • 12 wooden skewers
Preparation
We salt the meat. We cut all the ingredients into cubes of similar sizes. We cut the onions lengthwise and separate them into layers. We also cut the tomatoes lengthwise and remove the seeds.

We assemble the skewers, skewering the food, alternating the vegetables and meat to our liking.

We paint with abundant oil with spices and salt.

We heat the plate and place the skewers.


We are turning them so that they brown on both sides.

Clever!! to eat! You can accompany it with fried or roasted green peppers.
