Mediterranean bites with fried onion and hot pepper

Mediterranean bites with fried onion and hot pepper

Today's recipe is child's play. However, I have found it interesting to share it for those like me who do not know the product that I have used as the main ingredient. I speak of the Heüra Mediterranean Bites, some spicy bites with a touch of Mediterranean herbs.

Who carry a vegan diet you probably know them. These snacks and other products of the same brand are found in almost all vegan stores. They have among their ingredients water, soy concentrate from sustainable crops, olive oil, salt, aroma, spices and vitamin B12. Its shape and texture are similar to that of chicken and like this we can sauté it to serve it with pasta, rice and vegetables.

I must admit that it was the first time I tried them but it will not be the last. They are a great resource; You just have to brown them with a little oil for 5 minutes and serve them with whatever you want. In my case with a fried onion and pepper, spicy. The photo does not do them justice, I took it at night in very bad light.
