Banana and walnut cake

Today I propose a banana and walnut cake, a cake delight that has a very good flavor that the banana gives it, it is also very good for us if we have some ripe banana left to take advantage of it.

These cakes are very good, bring fruits and nuts make it healthier and very nutritiousIt is great for breakfast or a snack, especially for children who have such a hard time eating fruit and will surely like it.

Ingredients
  • 3 eggs
  • 150 gr. of butter
  • 150 gr. sugar
  • 175 gr. pastry flour
  • ½ sachet of yeast
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 100 gr. walnut
  • powdered sugar

Preparation
  1. First we will turn on the oven at 180ºC.
  2. Peel the bananas and mash them with a fork, they must be very ripe.
  3. In a bowl we put the eggs and the sugar, we will beat everything well, until the dough is very fluffy, then we will add the butter at room temperature, you can put it in the microwave for a few seconds, then we will sift the flour with the yeast and add it little by little to the previous mixture.
  4. We chop the nuts, leaving a few to garnish, we mix them with the dough.
  5. We take an elongated mold we will spread it with butter and a little flour, we will dump all the dough into the mold, we will hit the mold to level the dough, we put the rest of the nuts on top of the dough, we will put it in the oven at 180ºC until make it golden.
  6. To know if it is ready we will click with a toothpick in the center, if it comes out dry it will be ready, if not we will leave it a few more my cough or until it is ready.
  7. We let it cool, take it out and sprinkle with icing sugar.
  8. And ready to eat!!!
