Cupcakes with caramel sauce

We ended the week with a sweet, with some cupcakes with caramel sauce. A dessert that is a delight, some brownies with a smooth sauce prepared with caramels.

They are great to accompany a coffee, tender and juicy. You will surely like them !!!

Ingredients
  • 150 gr of flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 100 gr. pure cocoa powder
  • 150 gr. sugar
  • 125 gr. of butter
  • 125 ml of water
  • 1 sachet of backing powder
  • Crunchy almonds and sliced ​​almonds
  • Soft toffee caramels with cream
  • Liquid cream

Preparation
  1. We turn the oven to 160ºC, we will take the mold that we are going to use and we will spread it with butter.
  2. In a bowl we will put the sugar and the eggs, we will beat it very well until they increase in volume.
  3. Then we will add the water and the softened butter and beat everything.
  4. In another bowl we will mix the flour, cocoa and yeast. We sift it.
  5. We will add it to the previous mixture, we will sift it and we will be beating little by little until everything is well mixed.
  6. We will fill the molds, without filling them to the top.
  7. We will add the sliced ​​almonds and the crunchy almonds on top.
  8. We will introduce it to the oven, and we will leave it for about 10-12 minutes, we will have to keep an eye on the oven, they are done immediately, as they are small pieces and they should not be left too much or they will be very dry.
  9. Now we will prepare the cream, I used the soft caramels, of toffee with cream, they are very good.
  10. We will take a few and cut them into smaller pieces.
  11. In a saucepan, we will pour the cream, the amount depends on how much we want to make, I put half the pot and about 10 candies, we will put it on the fire so that it is undone.
  12. Once discarded, a slightly thick cream remains, but not much if not when it cools down even more.
  13. And the sauce to accompany our cakes will be ready.
  14. We can cover them with the sauce or put them in a sauce boat to accompany them.
