Strawberry and banana smoothie, a refreshing and nutritious snack
Strawberry season lasts very little and this recipe is a good way to take advantage of this delicious fruit. This strawberry and banana smoothie is perfect for snacks and is very nutritious and refreshing after a little sport.
Combining strawberries and banana I have always liked it, but allow yourself the freedom to try other fruits until you find yours. Would you like to experiment with other recipes? Try this strawberry mousse, it is equally simple and fast.
Ingredients
For two people
- 200 ml. milk
- 120 g. strawberries
- 1 ripe banana
- 20 g. of sugar
- 1/2 orange juice
- 2 crushed ice
Crafting
We wash the strawberries well and we chop them (reserving some to garnish), like the banana.
We shred with the blender both fruits together with the orange juice and the sugar. We add the milk little by little beating until the desired consistency is achieved. Once achieved, correct the sugar if necessary and add the crushed ice.
We serve cold and garnished with some strawberry or syrup to give it more color.
Notes
It is important to use mature fruit (not passed) so that the flavor of the shake is more intense. The added sugar will also depend on the fruit, which will sometimes even be unnecessary.
