I love smoothies and I can't help but try different combinations. Last week I will prepare this chocolate and coconut milkshake, a shake that you can prepare for breakfast or to regain energy after a workout this weekend. You dare?
I have used to prepare it vegetable drinks and yogurts coconut as a base. A base that is "sweetened" with dark chocolate and pure cocoa and completed with a fun toping that you can improvise and adapt to your own tastes. Doing so will not take more than 10 minutes and I am sure you will enjoy it.
Chocolate and coconut smoothie
This chocolate and coconut smoothie is ideal as a breakfast or snack, but also to recharge your batteries after a workout.

Ingredients
- 160 g. coconut yogurt
- 200 ml. coconut milk
- 1 ripe banana
- ½ teaspoon of cocoa
- 90 g. dark chocolate
- Grated coconut, dark chocolate and puffed rice for garnish
Preparation
- We melt the dark chocolate in the microwave with small heat strokes.
- We mix all the ingredients in a food processor: yogurt, milk, banana, cocoa and chocolate.
- We serve the mixture cold in cups or glasses and decorate with grated coconut, chocolate shavings and puffed rice.
