Milk pudding

Rice with homemade Milk, a traditional dessert that brings us good memories. They are desserts that have always been prepared in every home, recipes from our grandmothers. It is very good, it is easy to prepare.

Now it is prepared by making many variations, since you can change the normal milk for another type of milk, such as oatmeal, almonds…. So now there is no excuse to prepare this delicious dessert.

It is a dessert that we can eat warm or cold, give it a touch of lemon flavor, since we put lemon peel on it, but if you do not like it, you can give it a touch of orange flavor, putting a strip of orange peel .

Ingredients
  • 1 l. milk
  • 200 gr. of rice
  • 125 gr. sugar
  • A stick of cinnamon stick
  • A piece of lemon rind
  • Cinnamon

Preparation
  1. We put a saucepan on the fire with the liter of milk, the cinnamon stick and the lemon rind.
  2. We leave over medium heat until it starts to boil, then we will add the rice. We remove.
  3. We add the sugar and we will stir, you can try if we want to put a little more sugar, we will let it cook until the rice is cooked, about 15-18 minutes, depending on how you like it, think that while it is hot it continues to cook .
  4. We will distribute it in individual molds.
  5. It is usually a bit soupy with these measures but it is better, as it is hot, it will thicken. I like that it remains with broth, but that is to taste. If it is left with a lot of broth, remove a little milk but it will vary according to the rice.
  6. Now we just have to cover with cinnamon powder.
  7. And you will be ready to eat !!!!
