Chicken meatball in sauce with mashed potatoes
On many occasions, I had seen meatloaf recipe on many menus, but I really did not know what it could be. The word, resembles a big meatball, but it seemed somewhat exaggerated, well, then I got to work, and I found out about that recipe, which I liked so much that I made it.
For this reason, I present it to you today, so that you enjoy it as much as I do. Is a very simple and quick recipeAlso, you do not want to make them large, you will have a very rich mass of home made meat balls, great for the little ones.
Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts.
- 4 garlic cloves.
- 1 tomato.
- 1 bell pepper.
- 1 onion.
- 2 slices of sliced bread.
- A bit of milk.
- Salt
- Parsley.
- Oregano.
- Bread crumbs.
- Olive oil.
Our Process
First of all we will have to chop the chicken breasts with the knife, or also, ask the butcher to cut it for us, or chop it with the machine.
In a bowl, we will put the two slices of bread, which we will soak with a little milk. This is to make the meatloaf softer.
Then we add to bowl, the minced breast, 2 cloves of garlic also minced, salt, oregano, parsley and a drizzle of olive oil. We stir everything well until obtaining a compact dough, if necessary, we will add some breadcrumbs. Let stand a few minutes for the flavors to bind.
Meanwhile, we will be doing the salsa. To do this, we will chop all the vegetables, into uneven pieces, it does not matter, since it will be shredded. We will make a sauce with the vegetables and then we will crush everything.
Will balls with the dough that we had made before and we fry them on both sides in a cartén. The fire must be soft, otherwise the meatloaf would lose its shape.
When we have them all done, we leave it drain on absorbent paper. In this way, we remove the excess oil from the frying.
Finally, we will add the sauce to a large frying pan and when it boils for the first time, we will add the meatloaf, and let them cook for a few 15-20 minutes.
