Wild rice with chicken

Today I propose a wild rice with chicken, a light and simple dish to prepare.  In summer they want to prepare simple and light dishes and nothing complicated, and we always use salads that are quick and can be prepared in a wide variety.

But if you like rice there are many recipes that can be prepared, varied and rich like this one that today I propose a rice wild with chicken which is a light and different rice accompanied by chicken sautéed with onion and soy, a very complete dish that is worth a unique dish. We can also prepare it in advance.

Ingredients
  • 2 cups wild rice
  • 2 chicken breasts, cut into pieces
  • 1 -2 onions
  • 100 ml. chicken soup
  • 2-3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • Oil and salt

Preparation
  1. We will cook the rice in a saucepan with plenty of water, we will let it cook following the manufacturer's instructions. About 15-18 minutes.
  2. On the other hand we will put a frying pan on the fire with a little oil, we will have it over medium heat.
  3. Peel the onions, cut them into strips, put them in the pan to poach and let them cook until they are slightly caramelized.
  4. We will cut the chicken breasts into pieces or strips, we will add them to the pan with the onion, we will sauté, when the chicken pieces are golden, we will put the 3 tablespoons of soy, stir it and add the chicken broth.
  5. We let it cook over low heat, we taste the salt. About 5 minutes. The soybeans already have salt, even if you don't need salt.
  6. When the rice is there, drain it well. We will add the rice together with the chicken and we will leave it for a few minutes cooking everything together and mixing until the flavors are mixed.
  7. We will put in a source to serve.
  8. And ready to eat!!!
