Watercress salad with sea sticks and avocados

We are going to prepare a watercress salad with sea sticks and avocados, It is a tasty and nutritious combination, which could well be a unique dish in summer. Sea sticks with delicious crab flavor are rich in protein and low in fat and avocado has more calories than other fruits, but its high fiber content produces satiety and its fats are mostly monounsaturated, that is, the good ones, which help to the functioning of the organism.

Preparation time: 15 minutes



  • 2 avocados
  • 400 grams of crab sticks (not frozen)
  • 1 bag of watercress or lamb's lettuce
  • 1 golden apple
  • Juice of one lemon
  • 1 tablespoon of mustard
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • shawl
  • 1/2 glass of olive oil


We prepare a dressing by mixing the oil, honey, lemon juice, salt and mustard.

Then, we unroll the sticks and cut them into rather thin strips, according to your patience, that is, finer than the ones in the photo

We place the stick strips on a plate and season with a little sauce.

We cut the avocados in half, we finished separating them by hand, we took out the bone and we removed the skin. Then we also peel the apple into thin sticks with patience and also the avocado into not so thin slices.

We drizzled with lemon juice and dressing. We can now assemble our plate. First we make a bed with the 3/4 parts of the watercress, then we arrange the strips of sticks and the apple sticks

Now we need to place the avocado slices and some more watercress leaves.

Add some watercress leaves and the slices from the ends of the avocados to the leftover dressing and beat until a green sauce is obtained.

Season the salad with this sauce and sprinkle with almond praline or chopped walnuts.


We also have the option that each diner garnishes on their plate with sauce to their liking.
