Today we start with a vegetables cream. Vegetable creams or purees are great to introduce the vegetables to the little ones, they are soft and light when crushed you do not see the vegetables they carry.

This Vegetable cream is ideal to prepare it with a variety of vegetables, you can add the ones you like and try new ones. This vegetable cream can be made in a normal casserole or in a quick pot that in 10 minutes you have the vegetables cooked. To give them more flavor, you can add chicken broth instead of water or half or half.

Ingredients

Preparation
  1. We will start by cleaning and cutting the vegetables into pieces.
  2. We take a pot and put on the fire, add a little oil and sauté the leek cut into pieces a little, when it begins to brown add the rest of the cut vegetables, cover with the broth if we have it and water.
  3. Peel the potatoes, wash and cut into pieces, when the water starts to boil add the potatoes and a little salt, cover the pot and let it cook until they are cooked for about 25 minutes.
  4. When the vegetables are, we remove a little of the water from the vegetables, we crush them and we will add the vegetable broth if necessary.
  5. We return the pot to the fire with the vegetable cream, add a jet of milk cream, this makes it softer and we rectify the salt.
  6. And ready to serve, we can accompany it with some croutons.
