Two-color sponge cake

A two-color sponge cake, a sweet that always triumphs, fluffy and homemade. A mixture of two flavors, the normal sponge cake and the other half with chocolate flavor. Who does not like it?

A very nutritious cake, recommended for everyone, since it provides proteins, carbohydrates and vitamins, since bring milk, eggs and flour, the base of a good snack or a good lunch.

Ingredients
  • 400 gr. flour
  • 350 gr. sugar
  • 200 ml. milk
  • 180 ml. of oil
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 sachet of backing powder
  • Lemon zest
  • 4 or 5 tablespoons of cocoa powder (Value)
Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC with heat up and down.
  2. Grease a mold with a little butter and sprinkle a little flour and reserve.
  3. In a bowl we put the eggs and the sugar, beat with the rods, add the milk, beat, the oil, the lemon zest and beat well until everything is mixed.
  4. We mix the flour with the yeast, we sift it and we add it to the mixture little by little, once the flour is well mixed, we take half of the dough and put it in a bowl, we add the cocoa powder to this mixture and it we mix until it is well integrated.
  5. We take the mold that we have prepared and put a part of the mixture without the chocolate, on top we put a part of the mixture with chocolate and so on until the entire mass is finished, with a toothpick we can make swirls and mix everything.
  6. We will put it in the oven for 30 minutes, after this time we will check with a toothpick by clicking in the center, if it comes out dry it will be ready, if not we will leave it a little longer until it is ready.
  7. Let cool, unmold it and ready to eat !!!
