Today I present you some turkey and vegetable fajitas, a simple recipe that we can prepare for a dinner. A recipe with little fat, vegetables and with a lot of flavor that we can prepare in a very short time.
Fajitas are a rich and spicy recipe of Mexican origin, I make them my way since we can find in any mall prepared for fajitas and give them a flavor similar to the authentic but softer.
They are easy to prepare and fun if they are made as a family or preparing the fajitas each on their plate and thus each diner prepares it to their liking. Let's go with the recipe !!!
- 8 wheat fajitas
- 2 turkey breasts
- 2 green peppers
- 1 red pepper
- 1 cebolla
- 1 envelope of spices for fajitas
- A little bit of water
- Grated cheese
- Salt oil
- We prepare the vegetables, wash and cut the peppers and onion into strips. We put a frying pan on the fire with a little oil, we sauté the vegetables, we will add a little salt.
- On the other hand, we will cut the turkey breasts into not very fat strips, we will salt them and we will introduce them together with the vegetables.
- We let it cook until the turkey meat is done, then we will put a splash of water and the envelope of spices for fajitas. (Follow instructions). We will leave it cooking until a sauce has formed. We turn off and reserve.
- We put a wide frying pan and in it we will heat the wheat fajitas, we will heat them a couple of minutes on each side.
- Fill the fajitas with the turkey and vegetable filling and if you like some grated cheese.
- We close the fajitas and ready to eat !!!
