We could have made the turkey burgers ourselves, but this time we preferred to buy them. So we only had to prepare the apple side and green shoots before we start to cook the meat and mount them. Give them a try!

Ingredients
  • 4 burgers
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 slices of cheese
  • 4 tablespoons red cabbage, shredded
  • 1 large apple, julienned
  • 1 fennel bulb (white part), thinly sliced
  • 4 tablespoons of red onion in julienne
  • 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon of honey
  • Salt and pepper
  • Some lettuce leaves
  • Green shoots

Preparation
  1. We preheat the grill or the griddle to medium-high temperature.
  2. We season the burgers turkey and cook 5-6 minutes on each side until done. Before taking them out, we cover them with a slice of cheese so that it melts. We remove from the fire.
  3. While the meat is done, we mix in a bowl cabbage, apple, fennel, onion, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and honey. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. In each muffin we place one lettuce base. On this we put the hamburger, the apple mixture and top it with some green shoots.
  5. Serve each turkey burger on a plate.
