Una tuna pie super easy, without complicating ourselves in preparing a dough. Here you have this recipe for puff pastry empanada with tuna.
Very easy to make and fast, we just have to buy a good puff pastry and prepare a good filling and it looks great on us. I have put tuna, but you can prepare the filling that you like the most. It is a dish that we can use for many occasions, at a dinner, to take on an excursion, or to snack on an aperitif, always like it.

Ingredients
- 2 sheets of puff pastry
- 4 small tuna cans
- 4 eggs + 1 to paint the dough
- A 500gr can of fried tomato.
- 2 onions
- 2 green peppers
- 1 red pepper
- Oil and salt
Preparation
- Chop the onion, green and red peppers into small pieces.
- In another saucepan we cook the 4 eggs.
- We put a frying pan with a good jet of oil and we add the onions and peppers, we put a little salt and we let it poach.
- When the vegetables are well poached we will add the fried tomato, we let it cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes, we will stir.
- Add the well drained tuna cans, stir, when the eggs are cooked, chop them and add to the sauce, stir and taste for salt.
- We turn on the oven and put a sheet of puff pastry on a baking sheet.
- We spread the sofrito on the puff pastry leaving a couple of centimeters free from the edges.
- We put the other puff pastry sheet on top and close the edges by pressing with our fingers or rolling them.
- We beat the other egg and with a kitchen brush we paint all the dough, we open a hole in the center so that the air comes out.
- Bake at 180ºC for 30 minutes or until the puff pastry is golden.
- And it will be ready, you just have to let it cool a little and eat !!!
