Chicken and turkey taquitos with vegetables and bacon

What to do if you have some meat but at the same time you want or need to eat some vegetables? Well, a perfect mix of both! The recipe that we present to you today, Tuesday 21st, is that easy. Who has not ever made a dish this simple but at the same time so complete in terms of nutrients? It was delicious and served as a single dish, preferably at noon.

These chicken and turkey taquitos with vegetables and bacon serve those days when with a little meat and vegetables we can make a super complete dish without too much complication.

  • 500 grams of chicken in tacos
  • 500 grams of turkey in tacos
  • ½ onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 green pepper
  • ½ red pepper
  • ½ zucchini
  • 100 grams of bacon in cubes
  • Sal Island
  • Olive oil
  • White pepper
  1. In a frying pan, add a little olive oil and let's go sautéing all the vegetables previously washed and peeled: the half onion in thin slices, the peppers in small cubes, the zucchini in very small cubes and the two cloves of garlic in very thin slices. Sauté well and fry all the vegetables for about 10 minutes over medium heat.
  2. Once we have the poached vegetables, add both the chicken tacos and the turkey tacos, that we will have washed well previously and seasoned with salt and white pepper a little before. We add one more pinch of salt. Let the meat cook for about 20 minutes over medium heat.
  3. When there are about 5 minutes to go, add the bacon tacos, we stir well to mix the flavors, and that's it!
  4. We put aside and eat!
If you like spices you can add a little rosemary and basil to get a different and more spicy flavor.
