Ingredients
  • 1 kilo of ripe tomatoes
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 green pepper
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • ½ onion
  • 2 pieces of bread
  • 50 ml. Of olive oil
  • 4-5 tablespoons vinegar
  • Sal Island

Preparation
  1. To prepare the traditional summer gazpacho we start by washing the vegetables. Peel the tomatoes and chop them by putting them in a blender glass or a wide bowl where everything can be crushed.
  2. Cut the pepper into pieces, peel the cucumber and cut it into pieces and the onion, add it all to the mixing glass.
  3. We cut a few slices of bread, remove the crust, a bread that has a strong crumb is better.
  4. Cut the bread into pieces to make it easier to crush it, add it to the bowl.
  5. Add a quarter of cold water and grind everything. We are adding olive oil as we grind so that the gazpacho takes consistency.
  6. If we see that it is too thick we can add more water or on the contrary you can add more bread or vegetables.
  7. Add the vinegar and a little salt. We taste the gazpacho and rectify if necessary.
  8. Put the bowl in the fridge and leave it for a few hours so that it is very cold when serving.
  9. When serving we can accompany the gazpacho with pieces of pepper, cucumber...
