Today I bring you this delicious healthy recipe, squid in sauce. A delicious and easy to prepare dish, with which you will get a base for many other dishes. As an accompaniment, you can choose between different options. In this case, I have chosen very crispy French fries. But you can prepare a white rice and it will be perfect with the squid sauce.
Squid are small squid that are included in white fish. One of the great benefits of consuming squid or squid is that they have hardly any fat and have a very low caloric intake. In addition, they contain minerals such as magnesium, phosphorus or potassium. So it becomes an excellent option if you are controlling your diet.
- 1 k of fresh cuttlefish
- 1 large red bell pepper
- 2 ripe tomatoes
- 1 cebolla
- 3 or 4 cloves of garlic
- 1 hoja de laurel
- A glass of white wine
- Sweet and spicy paprika

- First we are going to clean the squid very well, removing the skin and the inner thorn.
- We chop the squid into not too thick slices and clean again with cold water.
- Now, we clean the peppers very well and cut them into small cubes.
- We also chop the onion and garlic.
- We put a deep frying pan on the fire and add a drizzle of virgin olive oil.
- We fry all the vegetables well until they are tender.
- We add a knife point of sweet paprika and the same of hot paprika.
- We also put a little ground pepper and cook for a few seconds, being careful not to burn the paprika,
- Next, we chop the tomatoes and add them to the fire.
- We let it cook for about 5 minutes.
- Finally, we add the chopped squid and the glass of white wine.
- We also add the bay leaf and salt to taste.
- Let it cook for a few minutes, until the squid are tender, in about 8 or 10 minutes.
- Before serving, we add fresh parsley and serve very hot.
