Squid in beer sauce, a dish that we can make in a short time and leave them prepared in advance. Beer gives it a different flavor and very good. We can do it as a first course, an aperitif or for a dinner.
Squid provide very good protein and little fat, accompanied by a salad or cooked rice, we have a good dish. As you can see, it is a very simple, fast and easy dish that we can prepare for any occasion.

Ingredients
- 1 kilo of squid
- 300 ml. of beer
- Some mussels
- 1 hoja de laurel
- 1 small onion
- 2 or 3 garlic
- Parsley
- Buy

Preparation
- First we clean the squid well, we salt them.
- We clean the mussels and reserve
- We put a frying pan with oil and when it is hot we will add the squid and sauté them over high heat, until all the water is released.
- We remove them, on the other hand we chop the garlic and the onion very small and we put it in the pan where we have sautéed the cuttlefish and the bay leaf, we let it cook for about 5 minutes over low heat, add the beer, add a little salt and pepper and let it cook for 5 more minutes, then add the squid, leave it for about 15 minutes and then add the mussels, cook until they are, chop parsley and sprinkle it on top.
- If you want the sauce to be thicker, dissolve a tablespoon of cornstarch in a little water and add it, let it boil and this will thicken the sauce a little.
- If you want it to be a unique dish, you just have to accompany it with a cooked rice, which goes very well or a salad, you can even add some other fish that you like.
- And it will be ready !!!
- It is served piping hot.
