Ingredients
  • 300 g. very chopped chicken breast
  • 180 g. frozen spinach
  • 1 egg
  • 1 small garlic clove finely minced
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • 1 pinch of black pepper
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of chopped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon of breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • For the onion:
  • 2 onions in rings or julienne
  • Sal Island
  • Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of brown sugar

Preparation
  1. We cook the spinach with a pinch of salt until done. Once done, we drain them in a colander.
  2. In a large bowl we mix the breast minced chicken, drained spinach, egg, minced garlic clove and spices.
  3. We finally incorporate the tablespoon olive oil and the 2 tablespoons of breadcrumbs and mix until all the ingredients are perfectly integrated.
  4. With the hands we form the hamburgers and placing each one of them between two scraps of baking paper.
  5. We take to the fridge 30 minutes.
  6. While they rest, we prepare the onion. We poach it over medium heat in a pan for approximately 20 minutes with a pinch of salt. When it is soft and has changed color, add the brown sugar and continue cooking 5-10 more minutes.
  7. We put the pan or griddle to heat and we cook the burgers on both sides until they last to taste.
  8. We serve the hamburger with the onion.
