It is not the first time that we prepare a spinach cream in Cooking Recipes, but it is the first time that we have incorporated avocado to our list of ingredients. The combination of both ingredients results in a cream with a intense color that does not go unnoticed.
The cold cream of spinach and avocado It is, due to its simplicity, a wonderful proposal to complete our weekly menu. We can accompany it with a spoonful of skimmed yogurt and / or some walnuts as on this occasion; take it at room temperature or cold, after it has been in the fridge.
- 130 g. fresh spinach
- 1 cup water
- 2 peeled garlic cloves
- Juice of 2 lemons
- A pinch of salt
- 1 ripe avocado
- 2 tablespoons of walnuts to decorate
- We wash the spins and dry well.
- We place in the blender spinach, water, garlic, lemon juice and salt. We work to achieve a smooth mixture.
- Meanwhile, pit the avocado, we peel it and cut it in half.
- We add the avocado to the blender and mix until obtaining a homogeneous cream, no lumps.
- We test and we correct the salt point and acidity, if necessary.
- Divide into bowls and decorate with walnuts.
