Ingredients
  • 200g. meat (pork, beef...) diced
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 3 large carrots, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, minced
  • 2 tomatoes, peeled
  • ½ glass of red wine
  • 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • 1-2 chilies
  • 1 glass of beef broth
  • 150 gr of cooked chickpeas
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Sal Island
  • Ground black pepper

Preparation
  1. Heat three tablespoons of oil in a frying pan and we brown the meat seasoned over high heat. Once done, we remove it from the pan and set aside.
  2. In the pan Now we fry the onion, the carrot and the pepper for 5 minutes.
  3. Afterwards, we add the diced tomatoes, season with salt and pepper and mix to continue cooking for 10 more minutes.
  4. Then, we return the meat to the pan and we water it with wine, Cooking over high heat for a minute so that part of the alcohol evaporates.
  5. Immediately after we add the fried tomato, the bay leaf, the chilies and the meat broth and cook for 10 minutes so that the meat cooks and the broth reduces. Depending on the meat you choose, you may need more or less broth and more or less time.
  6. Then, to finish we add the chickpeas, we mix and cook 10 more minutes so that all the flavors mix.
