Burritos

The burritos is a typical mexican dish, in which its base, for the most part, is minced meat with very spicy vegetables. Sometimes, The term burrito is confused with fajitaHowever, it is the type of cut of the meat and the curl that will change the finish of the dish.

That is, the burrito consists of the minced meat fried with the vegetables rolled like a roll, while the fajitas, the cut is in strips and is accompanied by corn cakes and different sauce so that the same diner is served. Anyway, it is a very good recipe, which is why today I have brought you these magnificent spicy burritos accompanied by a guacamole sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg of minced meat.
  • 2 large onions.
  • 2 red peppers.
  • 2 green peppers
  • 2 fat tomatoes.
  • 2 envelopes of seasoning for burritos.
  • Olive oil.
  • Salt
  • Corn cakes.
  • 1 bottle of spicy tomato sauce for burritos.

For the guacamole sauce:

  • 2 avocados
  • Lemon drops.

Preparation

To perform the guacamole sauce We will only have to cut the guacamole in half and, with a knife, give a strong and dry blow to loosen the bone. Then we will remove the meat from the avocado and beat it. As guacamole oxidizes very soon (they darken very quickly, losing its characteristic green tone), add a few drops of lemon, but we will leave this sauce for last.

To do this spicy burrito recipe we will have to cook the meat, since this is the basis of the recipe. First we will wash the vegetables very well since any anomaly that you find will harm our diner. Afterwards, we will cut everything into small or large pieces, depending on the diner since children and some people do not like to find very large pieces of vegetables in their food.

Then, we will put in a olla quite large (since there are many ingredients) with a good background of olive oil. We will add the onion first, then the pepper and then the tomatoes. We will let everything poach very well for several minutes.

Next, when we see that all the vegetables have lost enough of their volume, we will add the sachets of seasoning and mix well, and we will reduce for 10 min at least.

Spicy burritos have a multitude of spices to give it that spicy touch. And, since there is a great variety in the elaboration of the dish, it can be added from chili, through curry to finish with a simple yogurt sauce. For this reason, I leave you to your choice the spices that you want to add to give it that spicy touch or, simply, they already exist in the market burrito seasonings that have the same effect, and are also delicious.

Finally, when the meat has already reduced all the water released by the vegetables and the meat itself, we will proceed to place it in the corn cake. To do this, we will arrange the cake and on top we will place the already cooked meat and, on top, we will add spicy tomato sauce. We will roll up the cake and accompany it with the guacamole sauce.
