Spaghetti with olives

All the pasta recipes They are usually the stars of every home thanks to the fact that they are always very versatile and easy to prepare, they are great for any unforeseen event, quick dinners or for that time of the month when we have the fridge a little emptier. We can serve pasta as a main dish or as a salad, the latter can be served as a side or as a single-course dinner. In short, we can adapt it for all tastes and circumstances.

La recipe that I bring you today is very cheap and will not leave anyone indifferent. The sauce is prepared with black olives and little else, so we will need few ingredients but we will still get a special and different dish. Let's go with the recipe!

Difficulty level: Easy

Ingredients:

  • Pasta (In my case spaghetti)
  • 1 Tomate
  • 1 handful of black olives (if possible without pit, otherwise we will have to pit them)
  • Ketchup
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • Olive oil
  • Sal Island
  • Pepper

Preparation:

Heat a little olive oil and add the sliced garlic cloves, when they are lightly cooked (they should not brown) we add the diced tomato.

When the tomato is discarded, add the olives and let it cook over low heat for a few minutes. Finally we add the tomato sauce (if it is homemade better) and season. Be careful with the salt, the olives are already salty on their own.

Finally, we boil the pasta following the manufacturer's instructions and mix with the sauce.

  • When serving: We can accompany it with a salad or with the classic garlic bread.
  • Suggestions about the recipe: You can add some aromatic herb, like thyme, for example.
  • The best: It's easy, fast and different!

If you take a tomato, cut it in two, grate it and add it, a teaspoon of sugar, a cayenne (optional if you like spicy) and a couple of basil leaves (or the one from the spice jar), it is not necessary or add tomato sauce, you will get an exquisite homemade sauce, basil greatly enhances the flavor in tomato sauces
