Who doesn't want some spaghetti with tomato? It is a dish that many of us turn to when we don't have time to cook. A time that if necessary to prepare the spaghetti in Cherrys and chorizo pepper sauce whose recipe I share with all of you today.
It is still a tomato sauce but a tomato sauce with a special touch. The one provided by both caramelized cherry tomatoes and chorizo pepper meat. You're probably wondering what I mean by caramelized, right? It is very simple; Cherrys tomatoes are cooked with a pinch of sugar very slowly, until they fall apart.
The sauce acquires a subtle sweet touch that differentiates it from a normal tomato sauce and whose flavor is transformed with the chorizo pepper. It is a very simple sauce, but it takes time, I am not going to fool you ?! If you want to discover if it is worth the effort, you will have to try it!
The recipe
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- 1 clove garlic, sliced
- 250 g. cherry tomato
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 2 chorizo peppers
- Water glass 1
- 80 g. spaghetti
- We put the oil in a saucepan or frying pan and sauté the garlic cloves a couple of minutes without them getting to brown.
- Then add the cherry tomatoes cut in half and sugar. Mix and cook over low heat until they begin to soften and fall apart when stirred.
- Then, add the chorizo pepper in chunks and the water that should almost cover the tomatoes.
- Cook for 40 minutes over low heat, stirring from time to time.
- Meanwhile, we cook the pasta in plenty of salted water.
- After 40 minutes we crush the sauce and mix it with the drained spaghetti.
- We serve the spaghetti in a hot cherry sauce and chorizo.
