At this point in the month, many of us are trying to create a menu with which to surprise our guests. The proposal that I bring you today seems fantastic to give freshness to the table: smoked sardine tapa with piquillo pepper sauce and tomato salad.
With such a long name it may seem a priori a complicated recipe, but nothing is further from the truth. It is a very grateful appetizer whose ingredients are kept in the fridge until it is time to mount them on toast. Are you up for it?

Ingredients
- 12 slices of bread
- 12 smoked sardine loins
- Piquillo pepper sauce
- 3-2 diced tomatoes
- 3 dientes de ajo chopped
- Olive oil
- Sal Island
- Balsamic vinegar of modena
- Fresh allbahaca
- Cherry tomatoes for garnish
Preparation
- In a bowl we mix the tomato diced and minced garlic cloves. Season with extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and freshly ground black pepper. We mix and reserve.
- We toast the bread.
- We spread the slices with piquillo sauce.
- We place the smoked sardine on top and on top of it, a teaspoon of tomato salad.
- We crown each cap with some fresh basil leaves.
- We use cherry tomatoes and fresh basil to decorate the blackboard or source.
