Sirloin in red wine sauce

We continue with recipes to prepare at parties, sirloin in red wine sauce. A simple and very complete recipe that goes very well with this sauce. It is also a great recipe to prepare all year round.

  • 2-3 pork tenderloins
  • Carrots 1
  • 1 cebolla
  • ½ green pepper
  • 2 garlic
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (optional)
  • 3 tablespoons of tomato sauce
  • 200 ml. meat broth or water
  • 200 ml. black wine
  • Pepper

  1. We take the sirloins and season, in a saucepan with 3-4 tablespoons of oil, brown them over high heat on all sides. We take out and reserve.
  2. We chop the vegetables, the carrots, the peppers, the garlic in squares, the onion in julienne strips, we put everything in the casserole where we have browned the meat, if necessary we will add more oil, we let it cook over medium heat.
  3. When we see that the vegetables are there we put the fried tomato, we stir.
  4. We put the two tablespoons of soy and a little broth or water.
  5. We remove everything and crush all the vegetables, (you can leave them without crushing) we put it back on the fire and add the red wine, let it boil for 3 minutes and place the sirloins in the sauce, let it cook until they are tender- 30-40 minutes.
  6. When it is, we taste the salt, let it cool and cut it into thin or thicker fillets, as we like it. We accompany with the sauce.
  7. Serve hot.
  8. To accompany it we can cook some vegetables and fry some potatoes, it is also very good to accompany it with mashed potatoes.
