Today we prepare a Simple salad, one of those for which you do not need more than five minutes and that are used to accompany the main dish and thus complete the menu. A spinach, ham and asparagus salad to which we have also incorporated other ingredients.
It is very helpful to have cans of asparagus, olives or some ham cubes in the pantry with which to prepare a salad in a few minutes. We will only need to incorporate some green leaf to have a perfect accompaniment, very cool for the summer.
This time the green leaf is a combination of lettuce and spinach. At home we love spinach much more raw than cooked, hence we usually use it to make salads, even more so now when the garden provides them. Choosing seasonal products that we like is always the best option.
The recipe
- Some lettuce leaves
- Some spiny leaves
- 1 tin of asparagus tips
- ½ packet of ham cubes
- 1 tin of olives
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Apple vinager
- Freshly ground black pepper
- We place the lettuce and spinach leaves chopped in a bowl. We water them with a splash of olive oil, another of vinegar, season and mix so that they are well impregnated.
- Then we incorporate the asparagus tips, the ham cubes and the olives.
- We stir before serving the spinach, ham and asparagus salad.
