Sausages in onion sauce

Sausages in onion sauce, a rich dish as a main course or starter accompanied by a salad. Although sausages do not have a very good reputation, but the truth is that they are very popular and can be cooked in many ways, if we accompany them with good ingredients we can have a good dish.

This recipe is very simple and with a lot of flavor, it can be accompanied by some vegetables, potatoes, mushrooms…. It is also an ideal dish to prepare in advance or to take away in the tapper.

Ingredients
  • 1 sausage tray 12 units.
  • 1 cebolla
  • 2 garlic clove
  • 200 ml. white wine
  • 1 hoja de laurel
  • Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • Oil and salt

Preparation
  1. Prick the sausages with a fork, put a pan with a little oil over medium heat, when the pan is hot, add the sausages and brown them on the outside, remove them and reserve.
  2. In the same pan we add a little more oil. Chop the onion in julienne strips and chop the garlic.
  3. Add the onion, let it poach until it takes on a little color, add the minced garlic.
  4. Add the sausages to the pan with the onion, add the white wine, the bay leaf and a little salt and pepper. We let it cook until the alcohol evaporates.
  5. Add a small glass of water and let it cook for 15 minutes. If you need more water we will add.
  6. If we see that the sauce is very light, you can add a little corn flour dissolved in water, add it to the sauce, let it boil to thicken the sauce.
  7. We taste the salt, rectify and they will be ready to eat.
  8. We can accompany them with some french fries, the children will like it a lot.
