Ingredients
- 4-5 potatoes.
- 1 package of thick sausages.
- Salt
- Olive oil.
- I beaten egg.
- Bread crumbs.
Preparation
First of all, we will do the mash to make our potato balls. To do this, we will cook the potatoes in water for about 20 minutes. Afterwards, we will take them out, let them cool and then we will peel them very carefully.
Then, we will squeeze all the potatoes with a fork until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. We will add salt and leave in the refrigerator for half an hour so that the potato takes on consistency.
Moreover, we will cut the sausages in 1,5 cm thick portions, to later fill the potato balls. If these sausages are made of cheese or ham, they will give the balls much more flavor.
Next, we will take a portion of puree, we will place it on the dough, opening it with our fingers to introduce the piece of sausage inside. We will make our balls very carefully without letting the sausages show.
Finally, we will go through beaten egg and breadcrumbs, and we will fry them in a pan with plenty of hot oil until they are golden brown. I hope you like this delicious recipe for children.
