Do you like salmon? Do you usually incorporate it into your weekly menu? If so, this recipe salmon with lemon, rosemary and honey will give you another way to cook it. A quick way to do it, in the pan, with few and simple ingredients as you will have time to check.
The good thing about this recipe is that it gives the salmon a special touch without having to spend extra time preparing it. And it is that the ingredients are added to the pan as the salmon is cooking. The result is a juicy salmon with a subtle sweet/acid contrast.
A few slices of lemon, a few sprigs of rosemary (in my case freshly cut from the garden) and a teaspoon of honey. You will not need anything else to prepare it. Can we do it? At home we have completed it with a boiled egg and a green salad that we have served apart.
The recipe
- 2 slices of salmon
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 2 sprigs of rosemary
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 teaspoon of honey
- Olive oil
- Sal Island
- Black pepper
- We salt the salmon on both sides.
- Once done, heat a tablespoon of oil in a pan large enough to hold the two salmon slices.
- When the oil is hot add the salmon and cook for 2 minutes over medium/high heat.
- After add the lemon slices, the whole garlic clove and the rosemary.
- We cook one more minute and we bathe with the juice itself salmon slices using a spoon.
- Now, flip the salmon and cook 2 more minutes to brown on the other side.
- Finally we add the honey and move the pan vigorously.
- We serve the freshly made salmon with lemon, rosemary and honey.
