Today, in less than 15 minutes and in a very simple way, I am going to show you one of the so-called recipes «anti cancer«. Salmon, avocado, lemon, raw onion, coriander and cherry tomatoes are potential foods for the recovery of cancer patients, as well as essential in a prevention diet.
A few days ago I had the opportunity to go cover the I Andalusian Congress of Cancer Patients where I met Dr. Paula Jiménez Fonseca, author of the book "Eat to beat cancer" . According to the scientific studies reflected in the book, the tomato (contains a substance called lycopene that directly affects the reduction of tumors of the prostate, ovary, stomach and pancreas), the lemon (in its skin is the lemon tree, which is a photocomposite that protects us against cancer), salmon (its content in omega 3 and omega 6 oils is recommended to include in our diet to include at least two or three times a week) and avocado (thanks to its vitamins, avocado is one of the perfect foods to protect against cancer cells); they are essential foods in our usual diet.
- 4 salmon fillets
- 1 Avocado
- 10 cherry tomatoes
- 1 white onion
- 3 sprigs of coriander
- 1 lemon
- Peel the avocado, cut it in half, pit and cut into small cubes. We reserve in a bowl.
- We squeeze the juice of a lemon over the avocado.
- Peel and chop the onion very fine. We add to the bowl.
- Chop the coriander sprigs and add to the bowl along with the halved cherry tomatoes.
- We put a pinch of salt, stir and reserve in the fridge while we make the salmon.
- The salmon (we will not use oil since the salmon already has enough fat)
- We turn on the non-stick iron and put the salmon fillets on the skin part first (3 minutes per side maximum). We withdraw.
