At home we love salmon and we usually eat it once a week. We normally cook it on the grill although sometimes we like to add some sauce. Béarnaise sauce is one of our favorites along with the soy sauce and honey that we prepare today.
This honey soy sauce it is very simple to prepare. You can do this while the salmon is frying in the pan; All you have to do is mix all its ingredients well in a bowl and wait for the right moment to add it. And what is the right time? I tell you in step by step.

The recipe
- 2 slices of salmon
- Salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
- 3 teaspoons of honey
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of white vinegar
- 1 garlic clove
- Season the salmon slices on both sides.
- We heat the oil in a pan over medium-high heat and when it is hot we add the salmon slices that cook 3 or 4 minutes on each side.
- We take advantage of that moment to mince the garlic, finely chopped, and mix it with the rest of the sauce ingredients.
- Once the salmon is cooked for 3 or 4 minutes on each side, we add the sauce on top of the slices and cook a couple of minutes more so that the sauce takes body.
- We serve the salmon in soy sauce and honey with some cooked vegetables.
