Roast chicken, easy but delicious recipe
Today I wanted to bring you a very succulent recipe of roast chicken with potatoes all seasoned with a special sauce that, as soon as you try it, you will suck your fingers.
El chickenBeing one of the meats with few calories, it is great for dieting. When roasted, it loses most of the little fat it contains. In addition, everything stays on the skin, so you can take it off, although, I also tell you that it is delicious.
Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken.
- Salt
- Olive oil.
- Mix of peppers of all colors.
- Lemon.
- Potatoes.
For salsa:
- 2 garlic cloves.
- 3-5 tablespoons of olive oil.
- 4-5 tablespoons of white wine for cooking.
- 3 tablespoons of water
- Oregano.
- 1 lozenge of avecrem.
- Chimichurri (mixture of many spices).
Preparation
To make this delicious roast chicken with potatoes in sauce, we must first preheat the oven to 180º while we prepare the chicken to introduce it into it. First, we will wash the chicken very well under the tap, making sure to completely remove the entrails from inside, as well as the feathers.
Then we will place it on a baking sheet, we will make two cross cuts To the breasts, we will add olive oil and we will season it. In these cuts and inside the chicken we will place lemon slices to give the chicken more flavor.
Once washed and placed on the plate, we will reserve it and make the sauce and then bathe it with it. For this sauce, we will place the ingredients that I have previously specified for the salsa. We beat everything very well and bathe the chicken.
Finally, we will leave half of the sauce in the glass and every 15-20 minutes, we will add a little sauce on top of the chicken and the potatoes that we had peeled before. I particularly like the potatoes to be like this whole or in half, but if you want you can cut it into slices.
The chicken according to the weight has a cooking time, the oven that we have also influences. But, more or less, a chicken of a kilo-kilo and a half, usually is between 1h or 1h and 15 minutes at 180º. If you see that the potatoes are, take them out and reserve them for later.
