Today I bring you a rice with skewers. Sounds a little weird right? Well, this arises from those days that you don't know what to do and with what is left in the fridge we improvise. It is a dish that at work I had heard it being made by some colleagues and I did not think about it, this summer I have prepared it and the truth is that we liked it, it is very good since the skewers have a lot of flavor because of the marinade that it has and it gives a lot of flavor.
It is a very complete dish with a lot of flavor. Rice really likes it and with everything you put it on it is very good. If you like rice, be sure you will like it and it will be another way to eat rice.
- 350 gr. of rice
- 300 gr. of skewers
- ½ green pepper
- 1 minced garlic
- 5-6 tablespoons of crushed tomato
- Saffron-Coloring
- 750 ml. meat broth
- We take a casserole to prepare the rice, we put it on the fire with a good jet of oil, when it is hot we will put the chopped green pepper into small pieces.
- Next we will add the garlic.
- Before the garlic is browned, add the tomato, let it cook for 5 minutes.
- While the sauce is being made, we will cut the skewers into small pieces. We will add them to the paella along with the sauce. We stir everything and let it cook for a few more minutes and all together release the flavors.
- We will add the rice. We stir everything, we will add the hot broth and a little saffron or coloring and we will leave it until the rice is ready. About 15 minutes depending on the rice you use, we taste the salt and rectify.
- After this time, we turn it off and let it rest for a few minutes.
