We are going to prepare a rice with condensed milk, a very sweet delicacy. Rice pudding is an ideal and well-known dessert, a traditional dessert is prepared in various ways, according to the taste of each one.
This time I have prepared it with condensed milk, it is very good and creamy and it is easier to make, since we only have to add the condensed milk to the cooked rice. Although it is a fairly caloric recipe, it is a rich dessert. To make it lighter, you can change it to normal milk and add sugar, although you can add less.
It is a simple and quick dessert, it is very creamy and with a smooth and delicious flavor. It can be prepared in advance as it is best eaten cold. It keeps for several days in the fridge.
- 1 liter of milk
- 130 grams bomb-type rice
- 200 gr. condensed milk
- 75 gr. sugar
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 piece of lemon peel
- Cinnamon
- To prepare the rice with condensed milk, first we will put a saucepan with the milk, the cinnamon stick and the lemon peel.
- When the milk starts to boil, add the rice. Let it cook for about 18 minutes or until the rice is cooked to your liking.
- When it's done, remove the cinnamon and lemon peel. We leave the pan on the fire, we will have it over medium heat, we add the condensed milk and the sugar. Stir for 5 minutes until everything is well mixed.
- Fill some glasses or plates with the rice pudding, let cool and put them in the fridge until serving time.
- We serve them covered with a little cinnamon powder.
