Baked rice with eggs

For this healthy baked rice with eggs recipe We will use the excellent brown rice but if you do not have this variety you can substitute it for ordinary rice or the one you have in the kitchen and it will also be a delicious meal with an extraordinary flavor on the palate.

Ingredients

  • 11/2 cup brown rice
  • 250 cc. fresh cream
  • 200 g of natural cooked ham, cut in julienne
  • 4 beaten eggs
  • 100 grams of pitted green olives
  • 3 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • round tomato slices, quantity needed
  • fresh cheese or mozzarella, amount needed
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste

Preparation

Pour the brown rice into a pot with water and salt and bring it to a boil, drain it and put it in another pot. Add the cream, the natural cooked ham cut in julienne, the olives, the chopped parsley, the beaten eggs, season with salt, pepper and mix all the ingredients well.

Place the preparation in a baking dish and cover the entire surface with tomato slices and pieces of fresh cheese or mozzarella. Cook this preparation in the oven at a moderate temperature until the cheese melts and turns a golden color. Remove the pan from the oven and serve the portions.
