The rice salad with tuna that I propose today is a complete salad that is worth as a single dishIt is a plate of white rice with tuna, accompanied by a salad, all on a plate.
The salad with rice is very good, the little ones like rice a lot and with this dish it is a way to introduce them to the salad. You can also add many more ingredients to the salad, and accompany it with a vinaigrette or a tomato sauce to accompany the rice. It is a very easy and uncomplicated recipe with a lot of flavor.
- 200 gr. Basmati rice
- 2 cans of tuna
- Some cherry tomatoes
- 1 chive
- Assorted lettuces
- Olives
- Pepper
- For the vinaigrette:
- Oil, salt, vinegar and pepper
- First we will put a saucepan with plenty of water, we will put the rice and when it is cooked we will cool it under the tap.
- We will put it in a salad bowl, open the tuna cans, add the rice, cut the cherry tomatoes in half or into smaller pieces and add the rice, mix.
- Around we will put the varied lettuces previously washed, the onion cut into slices and some tomatoes cut in half, we will put olives all over the salad.
- We prepare a vinaigrette, in a bowl we put a good jet of oil, a little salt and pepper and 2-3 tablespoons of vinegar, we mix it with some rods and we dress the salad.
- We serve very cold.
