Pineapple and mango salad refreshing!
We have launched the summer with the thermometer marking a high temperature throughout Spain. To combat it on the table, salads are always presented as a good starter. Even more so if it contains fresh fruit like this one from pineapple and mango. A very simple and very refreshing salad!
A bed of lettuce, a mango and a few slices of pineapple make a refreshing combination and full of color. It is advisable to use fresh fruit, but you can always use canned fruit as has been the case. This time I used a can of natural pineapple in its own juice and used this for the dressing.
Ingredients
For two
- 3 handfuls of lettuce
- 1 medium mango
- 4 pineapple slices
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Balsamic vinegar
- Pepper
- Sal Island
- Pineapple juice
Crafting
We wash the lettuce. We do it sheet by sheet under the stream of cold water. Then we drain it and use it to create a bed on the salad bowl.
We prepare a dressing with extra virgin olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper and season the lettuce
We cut the mango and the sliced pineapple, and we place them on the lettuce. Be a little creative, it is always good to take care of the presentation.
Finally we pour over the pieces of fruit a little of the pineapple juice to enhance its sweetness.
