There are days when we don't feel like working in the kitchen. This is when the oven can become a great ally. There are recipes like this one from pork rib with mustard and honey that are made alone; they just require a little time and patience. Do you dare to prepare it?
I'm not lazy to turn on the oven in summer, you know. One can sit on the terrace or garden in the shade to enjoy a good book or a snack while the oven works in the kitchen. In an hour you will have the roast ribs ready to serve; freshly made it is a scrumptious delight!
- ½ Kg. Pork ribs
- Sal Island
- Black pepper
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1-2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- We preheat the oven to 180ºC.
- In a bowl we combine the oil, honey and mustard until obtaining a homogeneous mixture. We test and rectify if necessary; maybe some of you prefer to add more mustard.
- Season the ribs on both sides.
- Brush the ribs on the side of the meat with the previous mixture and place them in a baking dish.
- Next, we brush the side that is exposed. We cover with aluminum foil.
- We bake 30-40 minutes. We take out of the oven, we turn them around and we brush them on the side that is now at the top (meat).
- We bake 20 more minutes.
- We brush again we raise the oven to 200ºC and roast 10 more minutes without the aluminum, so that they brown.
