Ingredients

  • 1/2 liter of milk.
  • Vanilla essence.
  • Cinnamon stick
  • 4 eggs.
  • Half a glass of coffee.
  • 125 g of sugar.

For candy:

  • 2-3 tablespoons of sugar.
  • Water.

Preparation

First, we will put the half a liter of milk to heat along with a teaspoon of vanilla essence and the cinnamon stick. Without boiling, we will let it heat up for about 5 minutes and take on the aroma, and then we let it warm up.

On the other hand, we are doing the candy. We will put in a pan 2 tablespoons of sugar with a few drops of water, and we will bring it to medium-low heat until it takes on a dark or blond color, as you prefer.

When the caramel is ready, we will distribute it in the flanera or in the individual bowls, and let it cool. At this time we will prepare the flan base cream, which consists of beating the 4 eggs with the whisk, with the 125 g of sugar, then adding the warm milk and half a glass of coffee.

Finally, we will place the mold or the bowls on a deep oven dish, which we will fill with a little water, to place them in the oven at 200ºC, already preheated, for a few 20 minutes approx.
