Today we bring you a perfect recipe for the winter season, pumpkin, zucchini, bacon and cheese quiche. This recipe is a salty cake from French cuisine whose most important ingredients are eggs and cream with a filling of vegetables and / or meat on a base of shortcrust dough. This dish can be accompanied by a salad thus obtaining a very complete food.
Also as a novelty, for its elaboration we have used the new Braun MultiQuick 7 that has been offered to us by the brand.
- 250 gr. Of flour
- 1/2 tablespoon yeast
- 1/2 tablespoon of salt
- 125 gr. of butter
- 50 gr. of water
- 1 Zucchini
- 350 gr. pumpkin
- 1 cebolla
- 4 chubby slices of bacon
- 4 eggs
- 250 gr. cream
- 150 gr. grated emmental cheese
Incorporate the flour, yeast, salt and butter in the Multiquick. Turn on the minipimer at maximum speed and with the engine running we add the water. Knead for no more than 1 minute.
Place the dough in a plastic bag and leave stand in the fridge for 15 minutes.
Stretch the dough with a rolling pin and cover the quiche mold. Wet the edge of the mold with water so that it is well sealed and leave it to rest in the refrigerator for another 15 minutes.
Paint with egg shake and puncture with a fork so that the dough does not rise when baking.
Preheat the oven to 180º C and bake for 15 minutes.
To make the filling we are going to chop the onion and the bacon with the minipimer in small pieces.
laminar with the help of the blender the pumpkin and the zucchini.
In a frying pan, sauté the onion and when it is well sautéed, add half the pumpkin and the zucchini. Sauté and when well sautéed add the bacon and leave for another 10 minutes. When ready, remove from heat, add the cheese and mix. Reserve.
In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and add the cream. Mix with what we have reserved in the previous step.
Add the filling to the baked dough and top (decoratively) the rest of the pumpkin and zucchini. Bake for another 15-20 minutes.
