Puff pastry tart with medlars and bananas
Today I wanted to prepare a delicious dessert so that this week passes us quickly. The summer holidays will soon come and, with them, the beach and the sun. Therefore, we are going to enjoy these days that we have left with desserts like this puff pastry tart with medlars and bananas.
Loquats are a very seasonal fruit right now. In this way, we can take advantage of it to make a delicious dessert, rich, simple and easy to make.
Ingredients
- 10-12 medlars.
- 3-4 bananas.
- 1 puff pastry.
- 2 tablespoons of sugar.
- Envelope custard.
- Colored noodles.
Preparation
To make this puff pastry tart recipe with loquats and banana, first of all, we will place the puff pastry on parchment paper and, this, in a baking dish. In addition, we will make a hole with a fork so that it does not lift when we put it in the oven.
Then we will cut the fruit into slices 1 cm thick and we will place it on the puff pastry, distributing it evenly. In addition, we will add the two tablespoons of sugar on top and put it in the oven for about 15 minutes.
While the first step is being made, we are making the Custard in a separate small pot. I have used the typical envelope, but if you want you can do it home as I already did to you once. The consistency should be a bit thick so that later it does not spill through the tartlet.
Lastly, we will pour the custard on the bed of loquats and bananas that we had taken out of the oven and we will cool it for a couple of hours in the fridge. Thus, the custard will have taken on consistency and we can decorate it with colored noodles.
