A good coke for San Juan, puff pastry and chocolate coca. The night of San Juan is approaching, in many places it is celebrated with firecrackers and sweets.
If you want to prepare the coca yourself, this one that I propose is very simple, in 40 minutes you will have it ready. I have prepared it with chocolate and pine nuts, but you can vary the filling since the puff pastry is good to make many sweets.
Although this coca can not only be prepared in San Juan, during the year it is ideal to accompany coffee. Encourage you to prepare it and you will surely succeed !!!
- 2 rectangular puff pastry doughs
- 80ml. of liquid cream for cooking
- A chocolate bar for desserts
- Pinions
- Sugar
- Milk or 1 egg to paint the dough
- The first thing is to turn the oven to 180ºC heat up and down.
- We will stretch the dough, we will leave it on the same paper that it brings and we will put it on the baking tray.
- In a bowl we will put the cream with the chopped chocolate, we will put it a couple of minutes in the microwave to melt, we will remove it and mix, if all the chocolate has not been discarded we will put it in the microwave for another minute.
- Once the chocolate is well mixed we will put it on the dough, without reaching the edges, we will leave about a couple of centimeters.
- We will put the other layer of puff pastry on top and we will prick it with a fork, so that it does not swell too much. We will seal the edges.
- We will paint with the beaten egg or milk and cover it with enough sugar and the pine nuts.
- We will put the coca in the oven preheated to 180º, until it is golden, let it cool, and it will be ready.
- Ready to eat!!!!
