There are recipes that you know immediately that you have to try. It happens to me often with those that I call clean; proposals in which little more than mixing must be done to achieve a fantastic dish. And so it is with these potatoes gratin with ham and cheese.
A bowl and a mixer are all we need to prepare this dish before taking it to the oven. Afterwards, he is in charge of doing the work and getting the dish ready to be served. If calories are not a problem for you, I encourage you to try it as a side dish or side.
- 5 potatoes, peeled and diced
- 200 g. cream cheese at room temperature
- 220 g. condensed cheddar cheese soup (Campbells)
- 180 g. chopped cooked ham
- 18 crackers
- 1 spoonful of butter
- Chopped parsley
- We preheat the oven to 200ºC.
- We grease a 22 × 22 cm dish and we put the potatoes in this.
- In a separate bowl, we beat the cheeses until obtaining a smooth and homogeneous sauce.
- We pour the sauce on the potatoes and mix so that they are all well impregnated.
- We cover the source with aluminum foil and we bake 35 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
- While the potatoes are in the oven, we mix the crumbled cookies with melted butter.
- Take the potatoes out of the oven add the chopped ham and sprinkle with the cookie crumbs on top.
- Bake for 8 more minutes to brown lightly and garnish with parsley before serving.
