Pot Roasted Apples

A simple and soft dessert are some pot roasted apples . Baked apples are always prepared in the oven, cooked or in the microwave, this time I'm going to show you how to make them in a slow cooker. The only thing is to know the times of each pressure cooker since, according to the brand, each one needs a certain time.

It is a simple dessert, ideal for people who want to eat soft and chewy things. By making them in a pressure cooker we have them ready in a few minutes.

To give it more flavor I have prepared them with a little sugar and cinnamon, this gives it a lot of flavor, cinnamon is a delight for those who like it.

  • 4 apples
  • 4 cinnamon sticks
  • Brown sugar

Preparation
  1. To make the pot roasted apples, we'll start by washing the apples.
  2. With the help of a coring tool or a knife, we remove the heart. We make a few small cuts in the skin around.
  3. We put them in the pot, in the center we put a spoon of brown sugar and we put a stick of cinnamon in each apple.
  4. Add a glass of water, a tablespoon of brown sugar. We close the pot. When steam starts to come out, leave for 6 minutes. Turn off and let cool.
  5. It can vary depending on the pot, if you like it very tender, leave it for a couple more minutes.
  6. Open the pot, remove the apples, serve them with the broth that has been made with the water, sugar and apple juice, sprinkle with a little cinnamon.
  7. For those with a sweet tooth, we can accompany it with a little whipped cream, vanilla ice cream...
  8. And they are ready to eat!! A delicious and quick dessert to make.
