Piquillo pepper and tuna salad , a rich and simple salad to make, with a lot of flavor. Ingredients
  • 1 pot of piquillo peppers
  • 2-3 garlic cloves
  • Lettuce
  • 1 spring onion
  • Tuna
  • Olives
  • 1 cayenne or chilli (optional)
  • Sal Island
  • Pepper
  • Olive oil

Preparation
  1. To prepare the piquillo peppers and tuna salad, we will start by cooking the piquillo peppers.
  2. We remove the piquillo peppers and store the liquid.
  3. Peel and cut the garlic into slices.
  4. We put a frying pan with a jet of oil, add the garlic and cayenne over a low heat.
  5. When we see the garlic lightly brown, add the peppers and a little of the broth from the pot, let them cook for about 5 minutes over low heat or until the peppers take on the garlic flavor. Add a little salt.
  6. Once they are cooked. We put out the fire.
  7. We prepare the salad, we put the whole peppers or strips in a source.
  8. We wash the lettuce, cut it and put it in the source along with the peppers.
  9. We chop the chives and add it.
  10. We remove the excess oil from the tuna and put it in the pan, add some olives.
  11. We drizzle with the oil from the pan and the broth of the peppers and a little salt.
  12. We serve.
